─── Website Management Plans

Hosted, secured, handled.

Managed plans include premium hosting, security, updates, and ongoing support — everything you need to keep your site fast, secure, and running smoothly.

─── 01 / The Problem

Cheap hosting keeps the lights on. Nothing more.

Every WordPress or WooCommerce site needs a host — a digital home where your site lives. Many well‑known providers like GoDaddy, Bluehost, and HostGator offer this at a basic level.

When I first started building websites, I sent clients to those platforms. Over time, I realized they're built for mass‑market scale — not optimized for the performance, security, and reliability of any single business. Low introductory pricing quietly becomes higher renewals, without a meaningful upgrade in service.

That's where Honzell Design is different. You're not just paying for hosting — you're getting a fully managed website environment, backed by one of the top hosting platforms in the industry. We handle the technical side so you can focus on running your business.

─── 04 / FAQ

Common questions.

Straight answers about ownership, support, updates, and what happens if you ever decide to move on.

Will I have access to my website?+

Absolutely. You are the owner of your website and will have full admin access to the backend of your site.

You'll be able to add or edit products, update pricing and inventory, view and manage orders, access customer and website data, and make content updates if desired.

Think of me as the designer, developer, and technical partner — but the site always belongs to you.

How do website edits and support requests work?+

I don't believe in nickel-and-diming clients for small changes.

If you need a quick text update, small tweak, or minor adjustment, I'll usually take care of it as part of your monthly management plan.

Hourly billing is generally reserved for larger requests that fall outside the original project scope, such as adding multiple new pages, creating large product catalogs, major redesigns or layout changes, or new functionality and integrations.

For larger projects, I'll provide a clear estimate upfront so there are no surprises.

Can I cancel at any time?+

Yes. I do not require long-term contracts for website management plans.

That said, some premium tools and software licenses included in your plan are purchased annually in advance. If a plan is canceled early, we may need to review any remaining unrecovered licensing costs tied specifically to your website.

My goal is always to handle these situations fairly and transparently. If you ever decide to move your site elsewhere, we'll simply review any active premium services together and determine the best path forward.

Your website and content always remain yours.

What happens to premium plugins if I leave?+

Many premium plugins and tools used on managed websites are licensed through Honzell Design and included as part of the monthly plan.

If you move your website to another provider, you may need to purchase your own licenses for certain premium tools in order to continue receiving updates and support for those products.

How are plugin and theme updates handled?+

Plugin and theme updates are monitored and managed regularly as part of your website management plan.

However, not every newly released update is installed immediately. In some cases, developers release updates that may contain bugs, compatibility issues, or unexpected conflicts — especially within complex WordPress or WooCommerce environments.

Because of this, updates are evaluated carefully before being applied. The goal is to maintain a stable, secure, and reliable website — not simply update software the moment a new version becomes available.

If you ever notice that a plugin or theme shows an available update in the admin dashboard, that does not necessarily mean your site is being neglected. It often means the update is being intentionally reviewed or staged to help avoid unnecessary issues or downtime.

What happens if my website goes down or breaks?+

That's exactly what the management plan is designed to help prevent.

Your site is actively monitored, backed up daily, and maintained regularly. If an issue does occur, I work to resolve it as quickly as possible and restore functionality.

Do you only manage websites you built?+

No. In many cases, I can manage, support, and improve existing WordPress or WooCommerce websites, even if they were built by another developer.

Some sites may require an initial review before onboarding.

Why should I choose this over cheap hosting providers?+

Traditional hosting companies primarily provide server space. They typically do not provide hands-on support, plugin management, performance optimization, or recovery assistance when issues occur.

My plans are designed to provide ongoing website management, support, security, and performance optimization — not just hosting.

Will my website stay updated and secure?+

Yes. Plugin updates, theme updates, security monitoring, backups, and performance monitoring are all part of the management process to help keep your site secure and running smoothly.

Do I have to know how to manage a website?+

Not at all.

Some clients prefer to manage products and content themselves, while others prefer a more hands-off approach. The goal is to provide flexibility while handling the technical side for you.

What platforms do you support?+

Currently, management plans are focused on WordPress and WooCommerce websites.

Let's keep your site running right.
