Hosting is included in every care plan, so there's no separate hosting bill, and every website I build and host comes with a care plan. Prices are starting points for a typical site. Premium features and customizations are quoted as needed, so you only pay for what your site uses.
Essential Care Plan
For brochure, portfolio, and other non-e-commerce sites that need to stay fast, secure, and current. Any WooCommerce store uses the e-Commerce Care Plan.

Do I own my website?
Yes. You own everything: your domain, content, and site files. If you ever decide to move your site to another host, you can.
A note on licenses: premium plugin licenses that Honzell Design pays for don't transfer when a site moves, so you'd need to buy your own. Custom plugins built and owned by Honzell Design need a separate license or a buyout to keep using them on another host.
Is a care plan required?
Yes. Every website I build and host comes with a care plan, and hosting is included in every plan: Essential for informational (non-e-commerce) sites, or e-Commerce for any WooCommerce store. You still own your domain, content, and site files, and you can move your site to another host anytime.
Is there a contract or minimum term?
Care plans are month-to-month, or you can purchase a plan annually if you prefer.
What does "starting at" mean?
The starting price covers the core plan for a typical site: starting at $50/mo for Essential (informational, non-e-commerce sites) and starting at $100/mo for e-Commerce (any WooCommerce store). Larger sites, premium features, and customizations are quoted up front, so you'll know your monthly total before you begin.
Are edits and changes included?
Your plan covers hosting, security, monitoring, backups, updates, email delivery, and weekly reports. Edits and additions to your site, like new pages, content changes, or new features, are project-based and billed hourly, separate from your plan. Ongoing upkeep of a custom tool I build can roll into your plan.
Can I add SEO or email marketing later?
Yes. Growth services can be added to an Essential or e-Commerce Care Plan at any time.
Can you take over a site someone else built?
Often, yes. After a technical review, I can migrate an existing WordPress or WooCommerce site to my managed hosting under a care plan, since hosting is included in every plan. If a rebuild is the smarter investment, I'll tell you why.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. If you add a store to an informational site, it moves to the e-Commerce Care Plan, since every WooCommerce store I build and host is on that plan. Add-ons can be added or removed as your needs change.
Do care plans cover Shopify stores?
No. Care plans come with the WordPress and WooCommerce websites I build and host. Shopify hosts its own stores, so Shopify builds are the one exception and don't need a care plan. SEO, email marketing, and development are available for Shopify stores.
