About Trained Monkey Blade

The vision of Trained Monkey Blades started in the Korengal Valley, Afghanistan. With multiple combat deployments and a host of equipment failures, Andrew knew he needed to start from scratch and build the best hard use blades he could. With lessons learned over the course of a decade of constant GWOT environments…the bedrock of Trained Monkey was formed.

It is the Fairlaino family, Gina and Andrew, that make up the Trained Monkey Blade Co team. Our passion for producing the best product we can is easily tracked back to our commitment to making our family, our clients and our industry partners proud to be part of the Trained Monkey team.
